Last night, I stepped into a world where Kansas City’s creative energy collided with culinary excellence, music, and immersive performance—all under the open sky. “One Night in Triune” wasn’t just an event; it was a full-sensory journey that lit up the Crossroads district with magic.

Held on a vibrant patio space tucked in the heart of KC’s art scene, the evening kicked off with a fire show that instantly set the tone: bold, captivating, and full of intention. Flames danced to the rhythm of curiosity and excitement, signaling that we were in for something extraordinary.

As the night unfolded, the music took over—curated sonic experiences by Brooks Brown (LA) b2b Encino (KC), Alil (KC), Matthaüs (KC), and internationally acclaimed DJ Crossfire. Each artist built on the other’s energy, weaving a seamless soundtrack that lifted us from the city streets and into an entirely different dimension.
But the music was only half the story.
The dining experience, dubbed Friune, was equally unforgettable. Executive Chef Adolfo Rodriguez and Pastry Chef Graham Farris crafted a multi-course menu that felt like an edible art installation. Some of the standout dishes included:

Salmon Cheek Tartare – rich, delicate, and beautifully plated. Caesar Salad – crisp and reimagined with fresh flavor twists. Lobster Risotto – creamy, decadent, and brimming with perfectly cooked lobster. Pork Orso Buco – a bold, tender main that melted in your mouth. Prime Rib Roast – cooked to perfection and dripping with flavor. And for dessert? A spectacular pastry finale that lived up to its name, thanks to Chef Farris’ talent for dramatic, sweet endings.
It was a night where fire met flavor, and sound met soul. From the curated setlist to the carefully crafted courses, every moment felt intentional—rooted in KC’s creative heartbeat and elevated by a fresh wave of collaboration.

This one-of-a-kind experience was the result of an inspiring partnership between Triune and LaMaison KC, bringing together some of the city’s best talents in music, food, and art. You could truly feel the love and intention behind every element—from the beats to the bites.
One Night in Triune reminded me what makes Kansas City so special: when our local creatives join forces, the result isn’t just an event—it’s a vibe you carry with you long after the night ends.
