For me, this World Cup became deeply personal.
As many of you know, I’m Brazilian. During the tournament, I wore an Argentina jersey to attend one of the matches. What I thought would simply be a football experience quickly turned into something much bigger. I received criticism, assumptions, and messages questioning why I would wear another country’s colors. Some comments even crossed the line.
The funny thing is that my story was never about rivalry.
It was about experiencing another culture with an open heart.
Despite all the online noise, every Argentinian I met welcomed me with kindness, laughter, and incredible conversations. Those moments reminded me why I love to travel: people are always bigger than stereotypes.

This World Cup reminded me of something important.
